SSL expiry monitoring
Every HTTPS website you monitor has its certificate inspected hourly with full trust validation.
Expiry tracking
We show the expiry date and the number of whole days remaining. Remaining days are rounded down, so “0 days” means less than 24 hours are left.
Alert thresholds
You choose the thresholds, for example 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before expiry. Each threshold alerts once per certificate. When the certificate is renewed, the thresholds reset automatically for the new certificate.
Certificate problems
Expired, not-yet-valid, self-signed, untrusted and wrong-hostname certificates are flagged as invalid and are never shown as healthy. If a check fails, the last known certificate details stay visible and are labelled as such.
Separate from domain registration
A certificate’s expiry is not the same as your domain registration’s expiry. We track both, separately. See domain & DNS details.
